Overview
You can update your labor rates directly in the SimplePart Control Panel. Any changes you make take effect as soon as you save them.
Before you begin
Make sure you have access to the SimplePart Control Panel. If you don’t see the options described below, your user role may not have the required permissions.
Steps to update labor rates
- Log in to the SimplePart Control Panel.
- Select Settings from the main menu.
- Click Setup.
- Scroll down to the Details section. Update your labor rates as needed.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click Save to apply your changes.
What to expect
After you save your changes:
- The updated labor rates are applied immediately.
- All future calculations will use the new rates.
- No additional action is required.
Troubleshooting
My changes didn’t apply
- Make sure you scrolled to the bottom of the page and clicked Save before leaving the screen.
I can’t edit the labor rates
- Confirm that your user role has permission to edit settings in the SimplePart Control Panel.
- If the fields are read‑only, contact SimplePart.
