Congratulations on your online parts store with SimplePart! Whether you’re new to selling parts online or just starting with SimplePart, this checklist will help you get your site up and running quickly and smoothly.

Set up your parts site

Before you start selling, there are a few key steps to complete. While our dedicated Implementation team will handle most of the setup, your participation ensures everything runs smoothly:

• Send your signed Dealer Agreement

• Provide the right contact information for everyone who will need to help with setup:

  • IT department

  • Business office

  • Accounts payable department

  • General manager or office manager

💡Note: If you’re migrating from another provider, make sure you have the rights to your URL and set up any necessary redirects.

• Keep all communication lines open so the Setup Team can get started quickly

• Inform your Business and IT departments that SimplePart is creating your new parts site

• Select your payment provider

• Choose any additional integrations

• Schedule your training session

• Coordinate with your staff to attend the training session

Explore the Control Panel

The Control Panel is your central hub for managing your online store, tracking orders, and reviewing performance metrics. While your training session will cover the Control Panel in detail, exploring it on your own helps you get familiar and stay on top of your business.

• Log into the Control Panel

• Review the homepage and get familiar with reporting

These metrics directly reflect order processing, your performance, and your customers’ experience. The more familiar you are with the Control Panel, the better you can optimize your online store.

Go live!

Once your setup is complete, training is done, and you’ve explored the Control Panel, you’re ready to go live and start accepting orders.
