PayPal Complete Payments (PPCP) is a secure and reliable way to process online transactions on your SimplePart website. This guide will walk you through the steps to connect your PayPal account to the SimplePart Control Panel and start accepting payments.
Step 1: Ensure you have a PayPal Business account
Make sure you have a PayPal Business account. If you don’t have one yet, you can create a free account here.
⚠️Note: Personal PayPal accounts won’t work with PPCP integrations
Step 2: Access your SimplePart Control Panel
Log into the Control Panel with your credentials.

If you're logging into the Control Panel for the first time, check your email for a message from us inviting you to set your password.
The link expires after 30 minutes. If it does, let us know and we’ll resend it.
Once your password is set, log in using your credentials.
After you log in, you’ll be able to access your site settings and connect your PayPal account.
Step 3: Connecting PayPal Complete Payments
Click the following link to start the setup process:
https://secure.simplepart.com/manage/paypalstatus.aspxSelect your website from the dropdown menu in the upper right-hand corner.
Click Sign up for PayPal.
When prompted for projected monthly sales, enter your lowest estimated amount for parts sales only (not total dealership sales). Using a lower number helps avoid processing delays.
After completing the form, you will see a confirmation screen. Right-click Return to SimplePart and choose Open link in new tab.
On the next screen, click Enable PayPal.
Let your Implementation specialist know once you’ve completed these steps so we can continue with your setup!
Step 4: Testing your setup
Before your site goes live, SimplePart will confirm your payment gateway connection and verify that your checkout process is working correctly. If you’d like to test payments yourself:
Place a small test order using your PayPal account
Confirm that the payment processes successfully and appears in your PayPal dashboard
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during setup:
Double-check that your PayPal account is a Business account, not a personal one
Make sure your PayPal account is verified and linked to a valid bank account
Clear your browser cache or try using an incognito window
