Setting up CenPOS for online payments

CenPOS is a secure payment gateway that allows your dealership to process credit card transactions directly through your SimplePart website. Follow the steps below to complete your CenPOS setup and enable full integration with our system.

Step 1: Create a WebPay user

To begin, log in to your CenPOS account and create a new WebPay user. This user account will allow SimplePart’s platform to communicate directly with your CenPOS gateway for order processing.

When creating the new user:

• Assign the VT Admin role to the user. This ensures full integration access and allows transactions to be processed automatically through your SimplePart site.

• Make sure the user is not required to enter an invoice number.

  • Our system automatically generates order numbers, which will be used for payment records.

  • You can still reference invoice numbers on your orders if you need to match them with your DMS records.

• Use [e-mail] as the email address for the account when prompted.

Step 2: Send account details to SimplePart

Once your WebPay user is created, please send the following details to your SimplePart representative or reply to your onboarding email:

• The username and corresponding password for the WebPay user

• Your Merchant ID number

Our team will then complete the integration process and verify the connection between your SimplePart website and your CenPOS payment gateway.

Step 3: Confirm your connection

Once integration is complete, SimplePart will run a test transaction to confirm that payments can be processed successfully through your CenPOS gateway. We’ll notify you once this verification is complete.

💡 Tip: If your dealership processes both in-store and online transactions, be sure to confirm with your CenPOS representative that your account supports e-commerce transactions. Retail-only accounts may not be enabled for online use.
