If you notice that the SimplePart Control Panel isn’t loading properly, acting slow, or showing limited options, your web browser’s cache may need a refresh. Don’t worry—this is an easy fix, even if you’re not tech-savvy.
What is a cache?
Your browser’s cache is like a temporary memory for websites. It stores small pieces of data to help pages load faster. Sometimes, this stored data can cause issues with updated websites like the SimplePart Control Panel. Clearing the cache lets your browser start fresh.
Step-by-step guide to clearing your cache
-
Open your browser menu
On most browsers, the menu is in the top right corner, shown as three dots or a hamburger icon (three lines).
On Mac Safari, it’s in the Safari drop-down menu at the top.
-
Find the option to clear browsing data
Look for something called Clear browsing data or Clear history.
-
Select what to clear
A pop-up window will appear.
Choose Cached images and files (this is the main one to fix Control Panel issues).
You can also choose how far back you want to clear—last hour, last 24 hours, or all time
⚠️ Tip: Only clear your cache at first. Avoid clearing passwords or cookies unless you know what you’re doing, because this will remove saved logins and autofill information.
-
Clear the cache
Click the button to clear or delete.
Close the pop-up window.
-
Return to the Control Panel
Refresh the page or reopen the Control Panel.
Most issues should now be resolved!
If clearing the cache doesn’t help
Sometimes a bigger technical problem is the cause. If issues continue after clearing your cache, contact your IT department for further assistance.
