Setting up hazmat, disposal, and other per-part fees

Overview

You can now apply additional fees — hazardous material, disposal, filter, and miscellaneous — to individual parts, alongside the existing environmental fee.

Steps

1. In your Control Panel, enter the product number of the product you want to update in the Part Number search box in the upper right part of the page. This will take you to the Edit Product page.
   • You can also access the Edit Product page by clicking on part numbers in “Order Contents” if you’re actively reviewing Orders.
2. On the Edit Product page, scroll to the bottom of the page. Find the “Has…Fee” toggle you want to edit, and click it to edit.
3. Click the checkbox to enable the fee type(s) that you would like to apply (Hazmat, Disposal, Filter, or Miscellaneous) and enter the charge amount in the corresponding field below.
4. Click “Save” at the bottom right part of the page to save your edits.

What to expect

The fee appears as a separate line item in the customer's cart and order summary for that part.
